报告人简介:

Dr. Rudolf Krska is a distinguished professor at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, known for his expertise in chemical and analytical chemistry, with a specific focus on food safety. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Vienna University of Technology and has since established himself as a leading authority in the field of analytical chemistry.

Dr. Krska's research endeavors are primarily dedicated to understanding and managing mycotoxins within the food chain, developing innovative analytical techniques for detecting food contaminants, and evaluating the nutritional quality of food products. His work has been pivotal in reducing mycotoxin contamination in agricultural commodities, and he has fostered close collaborations with the food industry and regulatory authorities to enhance food safety standards.

His scholarly contributions have garnered him numerous accolades, including the prestigious FFoQSI Benchmark Champion Award in 2023 and the Distinguished Contribution Award fromAcademy of National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration's Science and TechnologyofCereal, Oils and FoodsMagazine in 2022. Dr. Krska is a sought-after reviewer for several scientific journals and funding bodies, and his research has been generously supported by a range of grants and projects, attesting to his global impact in the scientific community.

With an impressive publication record of over 340 articles, an h-index of 84, and more than 254,000 citations, Dr. Krska's impact on the field is substantial. He actively participates in the editorial roles of various scientific journals and has authored chapters in multiple books, spanning a wide array of topics from mycotoxin management to food analysis. Additionally, he has played a significant role in organizing international conferences and coordinating research projects, such as the European Commission-funded MyToolBox project, which aims to manage mycotoxins in food and feed through an integrated toolbox.
