报告人简介:
Dr. Farhana Rahman Pinu is a Senior Scientist and a Science Group Leader for Biological Chemistry and Bioactives at The New Zealand Institute for Plant & Food Research Ltd. With over 15 years of research experience, she specializes in metabolomics, lipidomics, flavoromics, and mass spectrometry imaging, aiming towards developing for different primary industry sectors in New Zealand. Using multi-omics and systems biology tools, Farhana and her group are researching plant systems to identify new flavour traits in horticultural crops and to study microbial metabolism linked to fermentation outcomes. Dr. Pinu has led numerous government and industry-funded projects, securing over NZ$3 million in total funding. She served as the President of the Australia and New Zealand Metabolomics Society from 2020-2023 and has close ties with other international omics communities.
